CO/OP Manila

I have always wanted to dine at CO/OP Manila but I'm only free during dinner on weekdays because of work (dinner on weekdays means a lot of people are eating out and it'll be hard to park, given the limited lot area), on saturdays I'm out with carl, and on sundays it's family day/ rest day for me. I was so happy achi and I were able to arrange for a lunch and movie date last month (her treat-- grateful shobe here)! Yes, it has been a month since I've been to CO/OP and I'm only blogging about it now.

(disclaimer: photos are not mine. didn't get to take much photos coz I was busy chatting with my lovely date. Also, this is not a sponsored post.)

To be honest, I wanted to dine here because I liked how cozy the place looks from the outside. When I got in I was so happy with how cozy it is inside. It has this rustic, industrial design. I instantly fell in love with the aesthetics of the place. It's just so chill (during lunch) so I think it's a perfect place to hangout with a couple of friends to study or do some catching up. Oh, btw... ^there's the counter where you're supposed to order your food. They have a wide selection of pastas, sandwiches, and salads for you to choose from!

This place is perfect for artsy-fartsy people because every corner spells 'arts and crafts'. Half of the place is for dining; while the other half is lined with art pieces, books, bags, handmade crafts, and little what-nots that are for sale. My eyes feasted on everything on display!

The food wasn't so bad. It wasn't so good either. Achi and I both ordered pasta and we also shared a salad. The salad was way better than my mac and cheese. My overall verdict is this: I think this is a cool chill place to hangout with friends (or alone). I really liked the salad and I'm going back to try the sandwiches. The pasta is so-so. The service is good. The place is clean. The price is so-so.

From 1-10, with 10 being the highest, I'd give this place an 8!
Should you go check it out? YES.
